Edinburgh Instruments Summer BBQ with TechComp partners

Long Service Awards

On Wednesday 10th of July, Edinburgh Instruments welcomed Richard Lo, TechComp Chairman, and Senior Management from TechComp, to our Scottish HQ in Livingston.

We were also joined by our sister companies Edinburgh Sensors, Precisa and Scion for a lovely afternoon of tasty food, speeches, and the celebration of our long serving employees.

To protect ourselves from the uncertain Scottish weather we had a gazebo erected on our lawn, but miraculously the sun held out for the afternoon. We enjoyed a lovely catered meal and spent the time mingling and catching up with colleagues before the proceedings started.

The events began with a series of speeches given by the managers of Techcomp, Edinburgh Instruments, Edinburgh Sensors, Precisa and Scion. They updated us with the latest company news and research development, along with new business opportunities going forward.

Service awards were then presented to our employees, including four for dedication and long service to Gary Hardie, Ray Thomas and John McIntosh, who between them have amassed an incredible 120+ years of service.
