Techcomp China Award Winners Visit Edinburgh Instruments
Over the last week Edinburgh Instruments have been playing host to the best of Techcomp China’s sales team. The team were chosen to visit the Livingston campus based on their superb sales figures for Edinburgh Instruments in China, in 2016 and 2017, as well as top sales for our sister company, Hitachi.
The group of attendees included: Ms. Zhang Hairong (Vice President), Mr. Zhang Xuan (Applications Engineer), Ms. Wang Sha (2nd best Edinburgh Instruments sales in 2017), Ms. Wu Xuemei (Top Edinburgh Instruments sales in 2016), Mr. Yang Jinsheng (Top Edinburgh Instruments sales in 2017), Ms. Diao Xuelian, Ms. Zhao Wei, and Ms. Wang Xiuxin.
Over the course of the week our distinguished guests caught up with multiple departments, where they were able to discuss upcoming news, applications, and products. General Manager of Precisa- Switzerland, Steffen Wander, was also able to catch up with our guests, and presented the latest news and product information from Precisa.
It wasn’t all work though. We were able to enjoy the sunshine with a company-wide barbecue on the front lawn, where the prize winners were gifted with keep sakes from Scotland. Vice President, Ms. Zhang Hairong took the chance to thank all of the staff at Edinburgh Instruments for their support with sales and encouraged all team members to reach new heights in the future.
Our visitors were also able to experience the taste of Scotland with a trip to the Royal Mile for a whisky tour, and were treated to dinner by Techcomp CEO, Chris O’ Connor, and General Manager of Precisa-Switzerland, Steffen Wander.
We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our team members from China and look forward to many more visits in the future.
