Desired Skills, Qualification and Experience
Scientific degree (Chemistry, Physics, Biophysics or similar). Candidates who do not have formal qualifications but have demonstrable experience in the industry and have a good understanding of fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy and their applications will also be considered.
Proven sales experience, understanding of the academic sales process.
This role requires significant travel throughout the UK and internationally. The travel expectations are up to 40% of the time (after the initial training period of 6 months).

Principal duties and responsibilities
Edinburgh Instruments prides itself in providing our customers with industry-leading service and applications support and this role covers the most important facets of our customer-facing agenda. The successful candidate will be enthused to act as an ambassador for our company, to conduct service, repair, training and installation visits to our worldwide customer-base.
Reporting to the Service Manager and based in Livingston, West Lothian, the successful candidate will also provide technical support to agents and customers, build up a repair and service note database, as well as give views on development strategy relating to our growing product range.
