In response to excellent business growth throughout the Americas, we have made a number of exciting appointments to our team in recent months. We are now delighted to announce that Christophe Roux has joined the team from sister company Froilabo and will be leading our business development activities on the American continent.

Christophe will be based at our new, larger premises in the north of Mexico City which are well placed for transport links and benefit from generous parking and modern, spacious offices and excellent warehousing facilities. The new office will be home to our team of 5 service engineers and 4 sales staff in addition to our 3 product specialists across laboratory products, chromatography and molecular spectroscopy solutions.

Techcomp CEO, Richard Finlayson, said “after a very successful spell as CEO of Froilabo, I am very pleased that Christophe will now be overseeing our distribution businesses in the Americas.  He will lead a very talented team in the region run by two outstanding managers; Victor Badillo, Regional Manager for Latin America and Rob Clapper, Country Manager USA. It’s also great that this coincides with the opening of our fabulous new premises and I look forward to working with him and the team as they grow our brands in the region”.

Christophe Roux said “The last 3 years at Froilabo were an exciting challenge, and allowed me to appreciate the human qualities shared within the Techcomp group. I am thrilled to enter a new phase in my career by joining the management of Techcomp Americas and its many great people. I am looking forward to supporting the development of our activities in the Americas.”

We wish Christophe well in his new role.
