The XS1 is your ultimate accessory for radioluminescence studies of scintillators. Designed to pair with the FLS1000 or FS5 photoluminescence (PL) spectrometers, the x-ray sample chamber connects via a liquid light guide. When x-rays excite your sample, it emits UV, visible, or NIR radiation, detected by the spectrometer.
With the flexibility to switch between two x-ray sources—a continuous (CW) source for spectral measurements and a pulsed source for time-resolved radioluminescence with ~100 ps resolution. The pulsed source is tiggered using an Edinburgh Instruments laser diode.
The XS1 includes versatile sample holders for powders, solutions, slides, and crystals, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. For added safety, it comes equipped with a double-lid interlock while maintaining compatibility with standard PL spectrometer operations.
