Handelsvertreter Meeting in the Precisa office in Rodgau

We had the opportunity to welcome our main distributors at our German office in Rodgau. Besides having a review on the first few months of 2023, there were also product and sales trainings about prepASH® and the 520 Series. The focus for prepASH® was on the wide range of potential industries and applications and for the 520 Series, technical facts about our new PHASTbloc™ were received with high interest by our partners. It was an interesting day to exchange ideas and best practices and we are looking forward to the next edition of this successful event.

Service training (Von Er)

In the week from 17th of April until 21th of April, we carried out the fourth Service training in this Year. It was again a complete Training, with balances and prepASH. Fife Service engineers from Labo-MS and Multi-Lab SRL RO participated this training.

Visit of Jerry and Tom from China

Two colleagues from China in charge of sales (Jerry) and product management (Tom) has visited Precisa on Wednesday 24th of May 2023. We had a tight agenda with them. They were impressed by our long-time history what is going back to 1935. On the factory tour we showed our manufacturing with all the tests we are doing to ensure our Swiss Made Quality. We gave an introduction on our main products like the prepASH and the series 520, where they could get in real touch and feel. Last but not least we discussed how to move forward for our mutual success with Precisa products.

Precisa UK

The Precisa UK operation had another successful UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) assessment in early May for the continuation of our ISO17025 accreditation.  Many thanks to all the team for their support.

One of our calibration customers, MSD Animal Health (part of Global Biopharmaceutical company Merck) have historically purchased balances from a range of manufacturers (including Precisa). The decision was made to standardise all of their balances to one manufacturer to ease with training and end user operation. After some meetings to discuss requirements, Precisa UK have managed to secure this project. In total, the order was worth ~£42,000.00 and included five IBK balances, two 360 balances for high capacity at two decimal place and ten 520 series balances. All of which were upgraded to have IP65 protection and are under a service contract with Precisa for UKAS calibration.

Oema Chem (Marine Chemicals testing) have been using Precisa balances for around 20 years, and due to some aging equipment, they were looking to put together a bid for some new equipment. We managed to secure an order for 5 IBK balances along with a service contract, and we will be able to use the site as a reference going forward.
