Edinburgh Instruments, a scientific instruments manufacturer, has recently launched their new high-tech product, the FLS1000 Photoluminescence Spectrometer and installed the first one at the Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) in Liverpool.
The MIF is a £65 million UK partnership between the University of Liverpool, Unilever and Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to develop a unique materials chemistry research hub. It provides an unparalleled suite of open access, state-of-the-art equipment and internationally-leading academic expertise.
Edinburgh Instruments has worked with the University and Unilever in materials characterisation by providing their new FLS1000 spectrometer and training their highly skilled staff. This will help the facility to accelerate research and reduce new product development times.
