China User Seminar Returns!
Our popular annual China user seminar series restarted in May for the first time since 2019. There were 200 attendees at our event in Zuhai including 160 guests, 120 of whom were users. The organisation of the event was, as ever, excellent by the Techcomp China team with a strong emphasis on scientific content and customer relationships while still having the space to showcase our products. Having it in Zuhai, close to Hong Kong and Macau allowed us to invite the Hong Kong sales team and Scion Korea. It was the first opportunity since the lifting of covid restrictions at the end of 2022 for EI colleagues to spend time in China, we tried to make best use of this with sales, customer service and supplier meetings organised before and after the conference.

Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK was held in May, and to mark the occasion we held a Coffee and Conversation session in 1 Bain Square. This was an informal chat to help us get to know our colleagues and speak about some ways to help deal with anxious thoughts.
Through the Techcomp Rewards Scheme, Techcomp staff have access to a number of channels to help manage their mental health including helplines, access to therapists through private health care and discounted gym memberships. Full details are through the Techcomp Rewards Portal.
