The Telaire Ventostat 8001B/8002B wall or duct mounting CO2 sensors and controllers are designed for Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) in buildings and are suitable for mounting directly inside the ductwork. This approach, using CO2 as an indicator of occupancy, allows ventilation based on actual occupancy while still maintaining ASHRAE recommended per-person ventilation rates. Over ventilation can be reduced, energy can be saved and air quality can be optimised.

All Ventostat Controls are provided with dual analog outputs (0-10 V and 4-20 mA), mounting/wiring sub-base and a 5 year calibration guarantee (more information provided with product). All 8000 series have a DPST relay (normally open or closed) and can be custom programmed to a specific measurement and output range using the UIP PC based software interface or on-board keypad (Display units only).
