NIR PMT in Nitrogen Flow Cooled Housing

  • Features Hamamatsu R5509-42 photomultiplier

  • Spectral range: 300nm-1400nm

  • Dark count rate: typically <20000cps at -90c

  • Instrumental Response Function with TCSPC: down to 600ps

  • Photomultiplier dynode chain specifically designed for fast photon counting applications

  • Supplied with cooled housing with nitrogen flow cooling system for temperature control at -90c

  • Compatible with FLS920 spectrometers

Photomultiplier detection system specifically designed to operate in the single photon counting mode. The unit produces fast pulses generated by single photons. The amplified output can be connected to a discriminator for single photon counting applications or to a constant fraction discriminator for applications of time correlated single photon counting.

A liquid nitrogen storage dewar is required for operation; available as an option.
