LifeSpec Series Spectrometers
The LifeSpec-series
of instrument are compact, high performance, computer
controlled dedicated lifetime instruments. These spectrometers
have been designed for rapid measurement of fluorescence
lifetimes based on the technique of Time Correlated Single
Photon Counting. Designed to be used with fixed wavelength,
short pulsed excitation sources, the LifeSpec instrument can
be flexibly configured with any number of these high
repetition, excitation sources such that there is selectable
wavelengths spanning the UV-Visible-NIR spectral region. The
use of fixed wavelength excitation removes the necessity for a
monochromator in excitation and as such renders these
instruments, more compact and affordable.
We have five models available in the LifeSpec-series of
instruments: LifeSpec-blue, LifeSpec-red, LifeSpec-1400,
LifeSpec-1700 and LifeSpec-ps. The table below details the
