To perform measurements of samples that exhibit a low
quantum yield or for highly scattering biological samples
or solids and powders that exhibit a high level of
scattering, double grating additive monochromators are
available, providing increased stray light rejection and
the benefit of increased spectral resolution.
For requirements where ultra fast decay processes are
being monitored and the contribution from the
monochromator towards temporal dispersion of the
fluorescence must to be eliminated, double grating
subtractive monochromators can be supplied. A bifurcated
fibre bundle accessory is available for remote sample
excitation and sensing, or as a microscope attachment. The
bifurcated bundle is mounted directly onto the sample
chamber by means of a custom made assembly.
