OptiStat DN - Liquid Nitrogen Cryostat
The Optistat DN liquid nitrogen cryostat and the ITC temperature controller from Oxford
Instruments enables families of temperature dependent
steady state and lifetime data to be acquired under
computer control through the F900 Windows™ software.
Temperatures from 77K to 300K (with a stability of
±0.1K) can be routinely
measured and the temperature range can be extended to
500K upon request.
The
cryostat itself is a static exchange cryostat and as such
benefits from both uniform sample cooling and rapid sample
exchange. 2 sets of inner and outer
windows are supplied for the standard L-geometry
configuration but optical access can be provided via four
sets of radial and one set of axial windows.
A variety of sample holders are available for cuvettes and
solid samples.
The cryostat comes complete with adapter, collar and pivot
to allow it to fit the FLS920 series of sample chambers.
