A new Fluorescence Lifetime Plate Reader for
homogeneous, liquid phase based assays designed for the
use in assay development, drug discovery and High
Throughput Screening (HTS) is now available.

had been designed to measure laser induced transient
absorption and emission kinetic with temporal
resolution from nanoseconds to seconds together with
the associated emission spectra
The fluorescence lifetime teaching kit is designed to
introduce the concept of fluorescence lifetime and the
concept of Time Correlated Single Photon Counting
(TCSPC) as the preferred measurement technique.
The kit comprises of the MiniTau spectrometer, a
pulsed picosecond diode laser, acquisition and analysis
software, computer, a set of readily prepared samples
and student technical literature.
The modular construction of our spectrometers enable
customers to add additional components to their
spectrometer as their research needs evolve. We sell a
wide range of accessories to further enhance and extend
the capabilities of our spectrometers.
Edinburgh Instruments now offers a PC plug-in card
for TCSPC the TCC900. This card contains all the
electronic modules required for TCSPC measurements and
is supplied with our T900 software for hardware control,
full data acquisition and analysis software.
Edinburgh Instruments offer a range of CW excitation
sources, pulsed flashlamps, picosecond laser diodes,
short pulsed light emitting diodes and ultra-short pulsed
modelocked Ti:sapphire lasers that are available for
either integration into the Edinburgh Instruments range
of spectrometer or as stand alone products.
